Picture a scene: Royal Blood sharing a beer with Black Stone Cherry, whilst Rival Sons play pool in the corner. That'll give you an idea of what to expect from AT THE SUN. Mixing up heavy dirty guitars, pounding rhythms, soaring vocals and ripping solos – meet one of the UK's brightest new bands.

In a world of social media madness, instant gratification, constant notifications and everyone's 15 seconds of fame, AT THE SUN focus on one thing: creating powerful, long-lasting music.

‘For us, it's all about making music people can move to – music they can really feel!’ says founder Kieron Heavens. ‘We don’t buy into the idea of just getting things out there quickly; we take our time to make sure everything we do is the best it can be.’

Harry Dale (Vocals), Reno Rennie (Bass), Chet Jogia (Lead Guitar), Craig Steen (Drums) and Kieron Heavens (Rhythm Guitar) released their debut EP ‘Breathe’ in 2017, gaining radio play on the likes of Planet Rock, Hard Rock Hell and Total Rock amongst others. Described by critics as being “head and shoulders above other bands in the contemporary rock scene” and “a band you don’t want to miss out on”, they knew they were onto something with their modern take on rock n roll.

The next year was spent cementing their loyal fan base around the UK by doing what they believe in most - getting out there and engaging with their fans wherever they go. An AT THE SUN show is not just about the time the band are on stage, it’s about meeting fans, sharing a few beers and making sure everyone enjoys the experience. As frontman Harry explains, ‘We want fans to be the driving force for the band, including them in the journey all the way, so we are all one with the music.’

2019 saw the band go from strength to strength with the release of their highly-anticipated album ‘Leave Before The Light’ which the press have called ‘an absolutely wonderful rock record’ and ‘a fine debut with plenty of killer cuts’. A UK headline tour quickly followed culminating in a sold-out show at The Black Heart in Camden. ‘We remember the first time we played The Black Heart’ says lead guitarist Chet Jogia ’we opened the night to a small crowd and now, a year and a bit later, we’re so honoured to be able to pack it out with our amazing fans!’

With festivals including Planet Rockstock, Hard Rock Hell and Breaking Bands following the tour, 2019 saw the band develop into a truly mesmerizing live force.

With 2020 being somewhat of a write off due to 'you know what', the band have come back stronger than ever with performances at Just Push Play 2021, Goatfest and a year ending performance at Monsterfest scheduled. In amongst this, the band will be entering the studio to begin recording the follow up to 'Leave Before The Light'

Welcome to the AT THE SUN family.
